Privacy Policy
كلينكا نفرتيتي ذ.م.م · Clinica Nefertiti L.L.C
The Arabic version of this policy is the one approved by the clinic and prevails. This English version is published for convenience.
We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal data with care and responsibility. This policy explains how information is collected, used and protected when you visit our website, submit a consultation request, or contact our team.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the personal data that Clinica Nefertiti L.L.C receives through its website and the communication channels linked to it.
Medical information and records are also subject to the confidentiality, retention and protection requirements set out in the health legislation applicable in the United Arab Emirates. This policy does not replace medical consent forms or the notices that accompany the delivery of care.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website and contact us, we may collect:
- Identity and contact details, such as your name and phone number, and your email address where you provide it.
- The details of your consultation request, such as the service you are interested in, your preferred date and time, and any message you choose to add.
- The correspondence you send to our team, and the information needed to follow up on your enquiry.
- Your marketing consent choices, and records of any change to them or their withdrawal.
- Technical data related to running and protecting the website, such as IP address, browser and device type, and usage and error logs, depending on the website's settings and the services in use.
Please do not enter sensitive medical information or attach medical images in the general enquiry form. If the medical team needs further information, it will explain what is required and the appropriate way to share it.
3. How the consultation request form works
When you press the button to submit your request and continue to WhatsApp, the details you provided are saved in the website's management system so that the relevant team can review the request and contact you.
The website then opens WhatsApp with a prepared message containing the details of your request. That message is only sent through WhatsApp once you press Send inside the app.
Saving the request on the website does not depend on the WhatsApp message being sent; our team may be able to follow up on the saved request even if the message was never sent.
Submitting a request or sending the message does not confirm an appointment. An appointment is confirmed once the clinic team has been in touch and confirmed it.
4. Why we use your information
We use your data only so far as is necessary in order to:
- Respond to enquiries and consultation requests.
- Contact you to arrange, confirm or change appointments.
- Follow up on requests and provide the support that goes with them.
- Refer appropriate enquiries to the relevant medical team.
- Run and protect the website and resolve technical problems.
- Understand how the website performs and improve the experience of using it, in line with the privacy settings and the consents required.
- Send news and offers where separate marketing consent has been given.
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations, handle complaints and protect legal rights.
We process data on the basis of consent where consent is required, or on another lawful basis permitting the processing, depending on the nature of the data and the purpose. Simply browsing the website is not consent to marketing, nor to the use of health information for promotional purposes.
5. Health information and images
Where health information or images are provided through a channel the team approves for that purpose, their use is limited to the purpose explained to you — such as assessing your enquiry or providing and following up on care — in line with the applicable legal and professional requirements.
Access to this information is limited to authorised people who need it to carry out their work.
Sending an image for a consultation is not consent to publish it. Any use of images, cases or testimonials on the website, on social media or in advertising requires separate, specific and documented consent, in line with the applicable requirements.
6. Marketing communications
Where you choose to consent to receiving marketing messages, we may use the channels you consented to in order to send news, offers and information about the clinic's services.
This consent is optional and separate from a consultation request, and is not a condition of receiving the service.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option in the message, by asking our team, or by contacting us at:
clinicanefertitidubai@gmail.com
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the necessary messages relating to an open request, an appointment or a service you are receiving.
7. Cookies, analytics and advertising tools
The website may use cookies and similar technologies to run its core functions and to protect it.
If analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel are enabled, the tools used and their purposes will be explained through the cookie notice and the privacy settings, and the required consent will be obtained before any non-essential technology runs.
You can change your choices through the cookie settings where these are available.
We do not use consultation content, medical images or health condition information in analytics or advertising tracking tools. We do not send the details of consultation forms to those tools.
8. Sharing information
We may share information, only so far as is necessary and for specific purposes, with:
- Clinic staff and the medical team authorised to follow up on your request or deliver the service.
- Providers of website operation, hosting, technical support and communications management services, under appropriate data protection obligations.
- Professional advisers where there is a legitimate need, subject to confidentiality.
- Regulatory, judicial or other competent authorities, where the law requires or permits it.
We do not sell your personal data.
9. External services and where data is processed
When you move to WhatsApp or use an external service linked to the website, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to its processing of your data.
When we choose service providers we take account of data protection requirements and where data is stored and processed. Any transfer of data outside the United Arab Emirates is subject to the applicable conditions, safeguards and consents, having regard to the restrictions that apply to health data.
Choosing to communicate through an external service is not a waiver of privacy rights, nor an authorisation to set aside the relevant legal requirements.
10. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as is necessary for the purposes it was collected for, taking into account the nature of the request, whether follow-up is continuing, legal and regulatory obligations, and the need to handle complaints or claims.
Information that becomes part of the medical record is subject to the retention periods set for medical records, which may differ from the retention periods for general enquiries.
Where information is no longer needed and no obligation requires it to be kept, it is deleted or appropriately anonymised.
11. Protecting information
We take technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks associated with it, including restricting access permissions and reviewing who is authorised to see the information.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the event of an incident affecting personal data, we handle it in line with the applicable response and notification obligations.
12. Your rights and privacy requests
Depending on the legislation applicable to your data, you may ask to:
- Know how your data is used.
- Access your data or obtain a copy of it, where that applies.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete information, restrict its processing, or object to it, in the cases the law permits.
- Withdraw consent where the processing is based on it.
- Make a complaint about how your data has been handled.
These rights are not absolute; we may have to keep some information in order to meet legal or health obligations, or to protect legal rights.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
To make a request, please contact us at:
clinicanefertitidubai@gmail.com
Please do not attach identity documents or medical records to your initial request unless the team asks for them through an appropriate channel.
13. Minors, and contacting us on behalf of someone else
If you are contacting us on behalf of a minor or another person, please make your capacity clear and do not share their information unless you are authorised to do so.
Verification requirements and the consent of a parent or legal representative apply according to the nature of the service and the applicable legislation.
14. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, to how information is processed, or to legal requirements.
The updated version is published on this page with the date it was updated, and we give additional notice or seek fresh consent where the nature of the change or the legal requirements call for it.
